Spooktacular Day!

I am so excited to show you a cute outside Halloween decoration I made last week! Actually, I made two! One for my daughters home and one for mine....

It is about 15" tall and 27" long!

Sayings on the Walls

We designed these with my Gypsy and cut it with the Cricut.... The top design I put in my kitchen and the other one went in the guest/grandsons bathroom at my daughters house.

Owl Diaper Stacker

Hello....

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer... Here is a sign I made for my craft room ... 

Also I have been really getting into sewing and embroidery (thank goodness my embroidery machine was still under warranty when it died on me earlier this month)... 

And getting back into making cards...

And for anyone that knows me ... I love to redecorate all of the time, which means moving furniture (haha)! Pictures later on one! 

Feeling so blessed that I have my own craft room and not have to clean off the table for dinner every night (did that for years).

Transportation Quilt....

Hi everyone ... I know it has been a while since my last post! I hope everyone is have an AWESOME June! 

The last time I posted I believe I said I was going to be working on my grandsons 3rd birthday present and would love to show you what it is. This is the first time I have machine quilted and I loved it!

I made the quilt by embroidering each block. The the pillow case, my friend found an easy way to make a pillowcase on YouTube called "Easy Tube Pillow Case" check it out! Then I made the decorative pillow and also a valance. 

His birthday is this weekend, so we will partying!

Hope everyone is having a great day! I am busy working on my grandsons third birthday present. I am making a toddler quilt, pillow case, and curtains for his bedroom. The quilt will have 12 different transportation vehicle embroidered on it and then I am going to quilt it by machine...hopefully I will be brave enough to do it without hiring someone to quilt it for me. I have always hand quilted, but I am really needing to get this done by next month! Can't wait to show you a sneak peek!

Mother's Day Tea Party....

Zion United Methodist Church, thank you ladies for doing a wonderful job with everything! Remembering Mother's Day

Hope everyone has had a great week!

Today I was trying to decide how to decorated my kitchen table. As some of you may know my mother died the day after Mother's Day last year. I know I have already showed you this quilt but it is very special to me because I gave it to my mom in 2004 for Mother's Day. We lived over 2,000 miles away from each other and when I went to her house when she was still in the hospital it was on her table.

I was always planning to make one for myself but never finished it so I used the pieces for a clothes hanger. The cute houses my daughter gave me a couple of years ago.

God Bless and if your mother is still living give her a hug for me.

My Craft/Sewing Room

Hi Everyone, I told you yesterday that I would show you around my craft/sewing room and here are some pictures! I feel so blessed to have this space to be creative in and as any crafter knows there is always room for improvement! I have only had this space for about six months, before that I had to share half of my living-room for my crafting and it was challenging to keep my grandson away from everything.

Fabric Stash!

Hope everyone having a great Monday, I have been busy getting  my fabric stash in order by color.  Did not realize I had so much fabric! It will be so nice when I start a project and not have to say "I know I have that color somewhere" ! HaHa

It's FRIDAY!

Hope everyone has had an AMAZING week, I know that I have!

Today I was going to try to get pictures of my craft room, but time has gotten away from me and have to many projects going on to stop today. One of those is for a wedding shower for tomorrow, so I have to stay focused and sometimes that gets the best of me!!!

 As I am writing this I have vinyl in my Cricut cutting for my project and so blessed to have so many wonderful crafting/sewing tools. Well off to start weeding my vinyl to put on my project :)

Also, still praying for those in Boston and Texas. It has been a sad week for many of you out there.

My Quilts

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!

I have been painting a few projects today.

Today I would love to show a few quilts that I have made. Each one was hand quilted. Right now I am learning how to machine quilt, I have really enjoyed watching classes on Craftsy! If you haven't checked them out you are really missing some awesome lessons on so many different projects!

On Friday I am hoping to take some pictures of my craft room that I have been working on.

Potty Time!

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday! I am sadden and praying for all the people in Boston.

Wanted to share:

My grandson is in the potty training stage and to encourage him my daughter had pinned something on Pinterest similar to the one I just got through making.

Painting

Hope everyone had a good weekend??? I enjoy keeping my grandson, Ryan when his mommy and daddy are working! He loves to paint his Thomas Train and just thought I would share a picture.

When he is through, I wash and dry it and he is off again, playing on the tracks.

Did anyone say "Yard Sale"

We went to yard sales today looking for chairs for my daughters oak dining room tablet that a dear friend gave them. Well, we didn't find any chairs, however I found an old dresser and I am planning to refurnish it....any suggestions?

Something about me....

God has given me the talent of crafting, and I plan on using all that I have to help others and to bring joy to my family, friends, and whoever I may touch! 

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother(RainRain) and I LOVE to craft! Can't  wait to start sharing some of the things that I have made lately. My daughter just got married on March 30 and created most her decorations with some help for family and friends. 

This is something I made for their engagement party and will replace the picture with a wedding picture when we them.
